i passed!

i passed all my exams! that means that now i'm finally able to say i'm a second year college student. yay me. i'm so happy. third semester here i come.
tonight my family is having our turkey dinner. my opa and uncle are coming over as well. yum turkey and stuffing! i love stuffing.
last night i tried pulling an all nighter to finish the scarf i'm making for my sister for christmas. it lasted til 6am. i drove my sister to work, and then went to sleep. i woke up 130pm. i didn't finish the scarf. i'm about half way done. oh well. she doesn't mind. she told me as long as it's finished before winter is over she'll be happy. that's a deadline i can live with.
i hope you all have a very merry christmas with family and friends celebrating that Jesus came to save us.

my brain hurts. i've been studying all day for my pharmacology exam tomorrow. i think if i study any more i will go insane. so i am stopping. i think i will review the information one more time tomorrow morning.
i can't wait till friday. i'm going to a christmas banquet with my sisters. yay! i love dressing up and looking pretty.

dryer

last night i put my clothes in the dryer. this morning i came downstairs to get them only to discover they were still completely wet. so i put them back in. i went upstairs to make breakfast while they finished drying. when i heard the buzzer sound again i went to take out my clothes. still wet! i tried drying them again. same thing, still not dry. it was really frustrating and i thought that our dryer might be broken. when the buzzer sounded again i went to the dryer. this time i looked at the dial that lets you set the temperature. it was set to fluff. fluff doesn't dry clothes, it just tumbles them. so i changed the temp to regular and started the dryer once more. thankfully when the buzzer sounded this time my clothes were finally dried.

cookies

i made cookies on friday. the first batch was chocolate chip and the second was shortcake cookies. the special thing about the shortcake cookies was that they were made with a whole package of raspberry jello. yes, jello. i don't like them very much. i had made a batch of them a couple of weeks ago with lime jello and they were delicious. i guess raspberry just doesn't stand up to lime. oh well. kam, my little sister, likes them and the chocolate chip cookies went over really well. they always do.

fish

today i went to the fish store with my dad. actually it's called Big Al's but i call it the fish store. usually we go to the one in brampton but today we went to the one in oakville. it's much nicer and bigger. they have a two walls that are fishtanks and they also had a huge pillar that was a fish tank. i love watching fish swim. my dad bought two new plants for his tank and some frozen blood worms for his fish. gross! then we came back home. now i'm taking a break from studying. i have three exams this week. wednesday, thursday, friday. then i'm done! i will have finally completed year one of nursing and in january i will at last be able to say i am in my second year of college.

happy birthday

today is my roommate's birthday. happy birthday terry ann! she's now nineteen. today is also mike's birthday. he's turning 21. happy birthday mike! i hope you both have an awesome day, and an amazing year. may God bless you richly and teach you so much about himself this coming year.

clinical group

this semester as part of my schooling i have being going to clinical every tuesday and wednesday morning. we finished last week. this morning we all went out for brunch at milestones. here is a picture of us. our instructor, brenda, is at the head of the table.

tonight we had a candy cane eating contest. we competed to see who could finish a candy cane the fastest by sucking on it. i came in third place. there were only three of us competing. yay for me! actually no. my tongue is now super green (they were spearmint candy canes) and it hurts. that much mint at once really doesn't feel well or taste well for that matter.

dreams

where do our dreams come from? can God talk to us in our dreams or give us specific dreams about him? i think so. what do our dreams mean? why are they cryptic? i would love to know the answers to these questions. see i have some really weird dreams and i would love it if someone could tell me what they mean. i've tried to analyze them myself but that just doesn't work because i'm just speculating as to what they really could mean. sometimes God tells me what they mean but for the most part i'm left wondering. if you would like to shed some light on this area please feel free to.
