it's taken until now

for those of you who don't know, i'm in my final year of a nursing degree at york university. i am currently doing my last placement or integrated practicum as it is technically called at Westpark Health Centre. over the last week i have been filled with the joy and excitement of becoming a nurse. i'm going to graduate june of this year and will be an actual registered nurse. i can't believe it and i'm really looking forward to it. it's weird. if you would have asked me before i started my placement if i was happy to be learning to become a nurse i probably would have shrugged my shoulders and given a half hearted yeah. but now i'm so looking forward to it. i can see the light at the end of the tunnel and let me tell you, what i see is good.
