if hats could have 43 children
I came across this link from someone else's blog. I found it very inspiring. I hope you will too. If you would like to make your own list click on the link titled 43 things on the sidebar. There is also one for 43 places.
Today I went to school to get mask fit tested for practicum. This is one of the things all nurses must go through since the outbreak of SARS. You put on a N95 mask, seal it to your face by pressing down on the metal nose clip, then you put on this paper helmet (if astronaut helmets and chef hats could reproduce, this paper helmet would be its offspring) that has a hole in it near your mouth. They spray this nasty bitter stuff into the helmet through the hole while you do various exercises with your head ie nodding, turning side to side, and speaking. All this is done to determine that the mask will prevent microorganisms like SARS from entering your system while being a nurse. The best part was getting chocolate after to rid your mouth of nasty bitterness.
